The US championship series for Spartan Race is well underway with the 3rd race held in Palmerton Pennsylvania in the books. Runner-up and up and coming Spartan Pro racer Rea Kolbl had an impressive showing and we where lucky enough to catch her on her lunch break to recap the race and her performance.

In this Episode, Elijah sits down with Spartan Pro Team member Rea Kolbl. Rea is one of the rare people that excel in OCR despite having no running background in high school or college. In just 2 years racing as an elite, Rea has 10 race wins and 2 tops fives in NBC spartan Races.
Rea is also one smart cookie. She is currently working on her masters in Materials Science and finishing up her undergrad in Astrophysics and Physics. Learn how she uses her grit and perseverance to overachieve in the realm of academics and OCR. Rea is a great example of if you stick with something long enough and study the problem you can become great.
